These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vertex Academy's website, courses, and related services (the "Service"). By purchasing or accessing any course, you agree to these Terms.

The Service is operated by Vertex Academy ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in Malaysia (SSM registration no. 202603148693 (MA0347917-W)), with its principal place of business at B-29-3 Lot 15 Residences, Jalan SS 16/1, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor. 1. What we provide

Vertex Academy provides online educational content in the form of pre-recorded video lessons, downloadable materials, quizzes, and certificates of completion, delivered digitally through our course platform at courses.vertexacademy.ai.

2. Your account and access

When you purchase a course, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that course for your own learning. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or distribute your login credentials or the course content to any other person. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being shared or misused.

Access to purchased courses is provided on a lifetime basis for the lifetime of the Service, unless otherwise stated at the point of sale. We aim to keep the platform available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may carry out maintenance from time to time.

3. Payment

Prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are payable in full at the time of purchase through our approved payment providers. Promotional or launch pricing is available only for the period stated and may revert to standard pricing afterwards. You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to your purchase where required by law.

4. Intellectual property

All course content — including videos, slides, written materials, quizzes, graphics, and the Vertex Academy brand — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Your purchase grants you a licence to access and learn from the content; it does not transfer any ownership. You may not reproduce, record, redistribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the content without our written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, circumventing access controls or payment, scraping or downloading content other than materials we expressly provide for download, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Educational nature and no guarantee of results

Our courses are educational. While we strive to provide high-quality, practical training, we do not guarantee any particular outcome, result, income, employment, or level of proficiency. Your results depend on your own effort and circumstances.

7. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued on satisfactory completion of a course in accordance with the requirements set on the platform. A certificate confirms completion of the course and is not an accredited or government-recognised qualification unless expressly stated.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Malaysian Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
